INTUITIVE OPERATION
To set the torque value, loosen the interlocking device via the blue rotary assembly and turn the handle until you reach the desired value on the scale. Then lock the rotary assembly so that the set torque value is not changed during the task.
The direction of movement can also easily be adjusted on the ratchet head. Use the shift lever to switch from forward to reverse. The lever has a practical free-running function which prevents the direction of actuation from accidentally changing while you are working.

With the torque range of 40-200 Nm, the 5122-3 CT ideally covers the tightening torque of the wheels of most passenger cars. Perfectly tightened wheels are an absolute must for your safety on the road: if your wheels are not tight enough, you could lose screws on the journey, or even the entire wheel in the worst case scenario. If your wheels are too tight, they could rust over and become very difficult to remove. The rims could also warp if the screws are tightened with too high a tightening torque.
Precisely tightened screws are absolutely essential in industry and machine constructions. When working with your 5122-3 CT torque wrench, reaching the set torque is indicated in two ways: as a close-gap release you can feel and as a "click" sound you can hear. This means you know exactly when the screw has been tightened precisely with the right tightening torque.

- With 9 x 12 insert tool for most screw connections on a bike with right- and left-hand thread
- eft-hand thread screws (depending on manufacturer) e.g. rear body / swing arm, shock absorber / rocker, derailleur hanger, seat stay and chain wheel nut on the e-bike motor
- Simple turning of the versatile HAZET 9 x 12 insert tool (e.g. as open-end or box-end wrench, square or reversible ratchet for bits) enables torque-accurate tightening of screws with right- or left-hand thread with a scale value accuracy of ±3%
- Checked according to DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017 with calibration certificate and serial number

NEW STANDARD
HAZET played a decisive role in the establishment of the new standard and immediately went on to implement the regulations for the production of the 5000-3 CT series torque wrenches. This will guarantee that the torque wrench is proven to work precisely and safely, in line with the newest standards.
- From 1 April 2018, only the new standard DIN EN ISO 6789:2017 applies!
- New standard comprises two parts
- A declaration of conformity is issued in line with part 1
- HAZET torque wrenches are always delivered with a calibration certificate, including information on the uncertainty of measurement, in line with part 2
- New: the calibration, in accordance with part 2, is performed across the entire measuring range. This means only the smallest adjustable value, 60% of the maximum valve as well as the maximum value is calibrated.

The tip cube – small component, big effect
Despite its small size, the tip cube plays an important role when releasing the torque wrench. Illustrated here: the tip cube in its original position. The force of the tensioned spring acts on it.

Once the set torque is reached when tightening screws, the tip cube "tips" out of its actual straight position, thus causing a click and perceptible close-gap release – the two release signals of the torque wrench.

The 903 S Lg and 903 SPC sockets, encased in plastic, are perfect for use on your car. These are particularly long so that you can easily reach the screw connections on the tyre. The plastic casing protects the rims from damage when screwing the wheel bolts. The sleeve is rotatable so that it can be held and controlled better when working.
